The Cowboys haven’t been shy about going against the Commanders on fourth down, and it’s worked out well so far.

The Cowboys have won four of four games so far. The club has just five wins and one loss on third down.

On this drive, Prescott and George Pickens converted on fourth-and-1 from midfield to complete a 19-yard drive to the Washington 31 yards.

Dallas then threw a 4-yard pass from Prescott to receiver Jalen Tolbert into the red zone for a fourth-and-2 play.

Finally, Williams capped off a 1-yard run at the 10, evading several defenders in the process.

Washington safety Jeremy Reaves hit Pickens in the head on an incomplete pass to set up a first-and-goal on fourth down, which was deemed unnecessary roughness. From there, Williams drove the ball into the end zone for his 11th rushing touchdown of the season.
