Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville went on an expletive-laden rant on Saturday arguing that Democrats will win the next two elections and defeat Republican “bastards.”
Carville closed out a short video on his “Political War Room” podcast insisting that Democrats need to embrace “gallows humor” and “laugh as much as they want” to Republicans ahead of the midterm elections.
“I know we all have to get through hard times, but never forget that this is Mardi Gras,” Cavill said. “Never forget that if we don’t cultivate a sense of, I don’t know, what you call gallows humor, then the son of a bitch wins.”

He continued, “But they’re not going to beat us, because we’re going to laugh at these assholes, and we’re going to do it a lot, and we’re going to laugh heartily, and we’re going to laugh out loud, and then we’re going to beat them in November and the month after that. God bless the United States of America. God bless the decent citizens who live in this country. And fuck all these assholes in the White House.”
Carville previously wrote in a New York Times guest article in October 2024 that he was “certain” that former Vice President Kamala Harris would win the 2024 presidential election.

“America, everything is going to be fine. Ms. Harris will be elected the next President of the United States. I know that for sure,” Carville wrote.

James Carville previously predicted that former Vice President Kamala Harris would win the 2024 presidential election.
He added, “I don’t believe that a country that has overcome its mistakes time and time again to set its future in the right direction will make the same mistake twice. America defeated Mr. Trump in 2020. I know we know we are better than this.”
In November, Carville announced that he would be betting on Democrats to retake the White House, House of Representatives and Senate by 2028.
