Reece James admits a lot has changed at Chelsea over the past few years but believes the team will become stronger and achieve more success.

Player turnover is high in most transfer windows and there is a real shift towards signing talented youngsters rather than established stars.
Reece James believes Chelsea will only get stronger
Chelsea enjoyed success under Enzo Maresca last season, taking the club back to the Champions League and winning the Division One and Club World Cup.
The Blues have plenty of talent in their ranks but a lack of proven ability in key areas is holding them back.

Chelsea are currently fourth but are unlikely to challenge for the title this season, although James believes they will have more success in the future.

“Things have obviously changed over the last few years, everything has adapted, new people have come in – different staff, a much younger team,” he told Chelsea’s website.
“But I think last season itself spoke volumes about how far we’ve come and where we’re trying to go and what we’re going to achieve.
“I think it’s only going to get stronger and better as time goes on.”
Chelsea captain back to top form
After battling injuries over the past few years, the 26-year-old has been injury-free for over a year and is back to his best.
