A Trump administration official praised the president for getting small business owners “excited” to pay taxes by cutting taxes and reducing regulations.

“Small businesses finally have their tax rates set,” Loeffler said. “The 20% pass-through deduction, now 179 expense, means there are higher limits on the ability to purchase capital equipment and to spend immediately on research and development expenses.”
Loeffler said these factors actually make small business owners eager to write Uncle Sam a check.
“I don’t think small business owners have ever been more excited to pay their taxes, and that’s thanks to President Trump!” Loeffler said. “He brought us blue-collar prosperity in his first term, and now he’s going to drive small business prosperity.”

“Absolutely. Regulations are taxes on small businesses, and they were cut by about $200 billion in President Trump’s first year in office,” Loeffler said.
