Daniel Peretz’s loan move to Hamburger SV from Bayern Munich has not gone to plan for the Israeli goalkeeper, who has been trailing Daniel Hauer Fernandez in the pecking order at the North German club.
The 25-year-old has been frustrated by a lack of playing time and recent reports suggested his loan spell could be cut short so he could move to Southampton.

However, Hamburg Abbenblatt now report that HSV are temporarily delaying plans to terminate the deal as they look to find a replacement second goalkeeper before approval is given.
Peretz missed HSV’s first training session of the new year on Friday, but head coach Merlin Polzin stressed his absence had nothing to do with his uncertain future.
“We understand his concerns and are having very in-depth discussions. But it has nothing to do with him being late. His flight didn’t take off at all,” Polzin said.
