Hisense is generally known for its affordable electronics and appliances, such as TVs and refrigerators. However, at CES 2025, the Chinese company demonstrated its high-end capabilities with a large 136-inch micro LED TV that recently sold for a whopping $100,000. So what are the exciting contents of this year’s exhibition? First, new leadership.
The company has two new hires, including Chief Marketing Officer Sarah Larsen and Chief Commercial Officer James Fishler. Hisense said in a press release that Fischerer’s experience in home entertainment, appliances and HVAC will be important as the company “moves toward its 2026 milestone and unveiling at CES.”
We’ll give you a rundown of what’s in store during the Hisense demo and how to watch it live.
How to watch Hisense’s demo
Hisense will broadcast live on its website on Monday, January 5 at 1pm ET. We’ll embed the link here once it’s available.
what happens
With the new hires in place, Hisense clearly aims to further enhance its brand. The new management, composed of Fischler and Larson, will draw on the experience of powerful competitors such as LG, Samsung and Beats. In a recent interview with Tom’s Guide, Larsen emphasized that the company will continue to focus on fast turnaround times from concept to market, a key differentiator for Hisense.
As for the actual announcements, while you can expect Hisense to tout its prowess in appliances and HVAC systems (and it does), Larson’s interview above specifically calls out the emerging RGB TV space as a focus. We expect this year’s show to mainly explain the differences between Mini and Micro LED display technology, as both Samsung and LG have already challenged the latter ahead of launch. Will any of these cost less than six figures? Hopefully Hisense can share some good news on this front.
