Former Iowa Hawkeyes star Kaitlyn Clark and Team USA will play their final game of FIBA World Cup qualifying on Tuesday in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The game marked the 24-year-old guard’s return after a series of injuries in his second season in the WNBA. In the previous four FIBA games, Clark averaged 12.8 points, 6.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds in less than 21 minutes per game.

Where to watch Kaitlin Clark play in FIBA World Cup Qualifiers
TNT will air the final game of Team USA’s World Cup qualifying campaign, while HBO Max will carry the live broadcast. The team’s fifth game was against Spain on St. Patrick’s Day.

Team USA names former Iowa women’s basketball star on Feb. 11 qualifying roster. In addition to Clark, rising stars Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers, Sonya Citron and Kiki Iriafen will also make their national team debuts.

The U.S. men’s basketball team has qualified for the World Cup, scheduled to be held in Berlin, Germany, from September 4-13. However, the organization still chose to participate in the qualifying tournament to gain representation for younger players and experiment with lineups and rotations.

Fierce forward Aaliyah Boston and Washington Mystics guard Sonya Citron were set to join the roster, but injuries sustained during their 2026 Invincible season forced them to withdraw at the last minute. They were replaced by Monique Billings and Ray Burrell.

The head coach of Team USA is Duke women’s basketball head coach Kara Lawson, and assistant coaches include Natalie Nakase, Nate Tibbetts, Stephanie White, Jose Fernandez and Tia Jackson.
