Apple recently rolled out iOS 17 on its latest iPhone models, and the latest update for the company’s smartphones brings several new features and improvements to the operating system. One of the upgrades makes it easier to share files with other users via AirDrop. AirDrop is Apple’s proprietary file, image, and video sharing protocol for sharing content over a shared network connection. After updating to iOS 17, you’ll be able to bring your iPhone close to another iPhone to quickly share various types of media with just a tap.
AirDrop’s new proximity-based sharing system works on all iPhone models updated to iOS 17. However, the ability to share these files via the new click-to-share feature is controlled via a toggle on your phone’s settings. You’ll also need to make sure the AirDrop feature is enabled on your iPhone – you can do this through the Command Center on your iPhone.
If you can’t use this feature on your smartphone, you need to change a setting. You can follow the steps below to enable tap-to-share via AirDrop on iOS 17.
How to click and share photos and videos using AirDrop on iOS 17

-
