How to Block Pop-Ups in Chrome

The current web experience is far from ideal. Pop-ups are one of the biggest culprits, and they are more annoying on mobile than on desktop. For one, they often take up the entire screen. Second, unlike PCs with a mouse, it’s not very convenient to slide them apart with your fingers.

Thankfully, most browsers (such as Chrome, Opera, UC Browser, and Firefox) offer built-in pop-up blockers that you can use to block unwanted content. Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers in India across desktops, mobile devices, and tablets. To block pop-ups using Chrome, just follow the steps below. Of course, no method is completely foolproof, so it’s inevitable that some pop-ups will creep in. Plus, sites are constantly developing new ways around these systems, and developers have to find new ways to do this, so it’s a cat and mouse game.
