Considering Jaylen Brown’s stellar performance with the Boston Celtics, how realistic is it for him to win MVP this year? He is a big reason why the Celtics have a 15-10 record and are ranked third in the Eastern Conference. His scoring is near the top of the league, and he’s added some serious passing and lethal mid-range play to great effect this season.
The real obstacle here isn’t whether Brown deserves to be a top-five candidate for the award (he is), but whether he has the means to leapfrog stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic in the MVP race.
