How much snow will New York City get? Latest inch count predictions

New York City looks set to experience its second major snowstorm this winter.

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service calls for nor’easters this weekend, showing snowfall amounts in the New York metropolitan area ranging from 9 inches in New York City to a foot of snow on the tip of Long Island.

“Widespread snow accumulation is expected, especially near the coast, where snowfall is more likely,” the National Weather Service said. “Blizzard conditions are possible across central and eastern Long Island.”

The entire region is under a winter storm watch from Sunday, February 22nd through Monday, February 23rd.
