PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police say a 21-year-old Hood River man was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital early Saturday morning.
Around 2:15 a.m., police received reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Oak Street, just off Highway 30.

When police arrived, they said they found a man named Yahir Castillo-Alvarez who had been shot multiple times.
The Hood River Police Department said in a news release that Castillo-Alvarez was seriously injured and taken to a hospital, where his condition is unknown.
Any possible suspects or suspects have left the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
