Deal done. FC Barcelona are set to sign teenage prodigy Ajay Tavares from Norwich City, with Fabrizio Romano set to put his signature ‘let’s do it’ stamp on the move.
One of England’s most talented young prospects, Tavares is a 16-year-old winger who has become a member of the Canary Islands’ U-18 side.

Barcelona have been working on a deal for the youngster for some time and have already reached a verbal agreement with the player. However, bureaucratic issues have prevented the deal from being completed.
But now those procedures have been completed and FIFA has approved the action. As a result, Tavares has been given the green light to complete a move to Barcelona.
The idea is for the 16-year-old attacker to arrive in Barcelona on Sunday and complete a medical on Monday.
Tavares plans to participate in training with Atletico Barcelona in the middle of next week and start adapting as soon as possible.
