chaplain and spiritual advisor to the secretary of defense Peter Heggs Agree with the podcaster’s wish that God kill the state representative. James Talarico (D-Texas).
Brooks Porter Tag A pastor at Mount Pilgrim Reformed Fellowship, Hegseth attended a Nashville-area church. In August, Hegseth held a Christian religious service at the Pentagon, where Potage was invited to pray.
Last Tuesday, Potteiger appeared on Reformation Red Pill podcast, host Joshua HimesThe fellow Pilgrim’s Hill member made some shocking remarks about Talarico. Talarico won the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate this month after speaking openly about his Christian faith while also rejecting the Christian nationalism Hegers endorsed.
“I prayed to God to kill him,” Himes said. “Ultimately, that means killing his heart and giving him new life in Christ.”
“Yes,” Potteiger agreed. “We want him to be crucified with Christ.”
“Exactly,” Hyams replied. “We want death and new life, right? If it’s not in God’s will, God, stop Him by any means necessary. That’s why we pray psalms of curses, even in our Sunday services.”
A curse psalm is a prayer that wishes judgment, death, or pain upon another person.
Hegseth himself has appeared on Haymes’ podcast at least four times.
Talarico will face the winner of the Senate’s May Republican primary runoff in the November general election. John Colin and the Texas Attorney General. Ken Paxton.
