Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted he told his former Chelsea team-mate Cesc Fabregas that “the time has come” for him to return to Stamford Bridge, while Juventus striker Kenan Yildiz would suit up for Real Madrid.
Former Chelsea and Real Madrid star Hazard has spent his final days in Italy, where he showcased wines from his “Champions Wine” brand, founded by Italian entrepreneur Fabio Codera.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hazard spoke about his former Chelsea teammate and current Como boss Cesc Fabregas and revealed that he hopes to see the Spaniard in charge of the Blues soon.

“To be honest, we talked for a while in the summer. I told him that he is one of the best midfielders in history and he is destined to be one of the best coaches,” Hazard said.

“I explained to him that the time has come for him to return to Chelsea, he joked, but I really believe it. He loves football and knows everything about this place. I am a Chelsea fan and I want the best for the club. That is why I dream to see Cesc on their bench and I will stay in the stands behind him and enjoy the game.”

Fabregas is in his second Serie A season at Como and the Azzurri will thrive in 2025-26, finishing sixth in the table and just four points shy of a Champions League spot.

Juventus star Kenan Yildiz has also caught Hazard’s attention, with the former winger believing the 20-year-old Türkiye international is destined to play for Real Madrid one day.
“My kids are obsessed with Yildiz. They want a lot of videos of him and want to see him in the Premier League,” he said.
“To me he looks more like a Real Madrid type of player.”
