Harry Kane is fully fit and available to feature in Wednesday night’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Italian side Atalanta. The result was a stunning victory for the Bavarian giants – and his performance was one of the best of the night, worthy of a Ballon d’Or candidate.

Some fans are concerned about Bayern’s promotion to the Italian side and a lack of trust in Nicholas Jackson after he came on as a substitute against Atalanta last week. Despite the uneven performance of the African striker, the team’s performance is something to be proud of.

Kane is aware of the main aggregate advantage in the second leg and is in no rush to take things easy against Atalanta.

“It’s easy to get complacent when you’re so ahead in the first leg. But we said we wanted to win in the same way as the first leg. To our credit we were there from the first minute to the last minute. Some young guys made their debuts. Overall, we’re happy,” said @iMiaSanMia.

Bayern certainly wasn’t complacent in the second leg. Despite having a huge advantage and only needing minimal performance to advance to the next round, Bayern actually continued their strong performance and defeated the visiting team with a total score of 10-2 to complete the score.

Despite the clear advantage, despite the need to rotate players and manage playing time, Kane and the rest of the squad remained motivated, easily securing a spot in the quarter-finals. Bayern Munich will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals. The two clubs have a long history in European competitions, and while history has favored the Spanish side, Bayern Munich will be keen to build on their success in this year’s competition.
