GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) – The principal of a Grand Haven middle school has died, the school district said.
in a Sunday Facebook PostGrand Haven Area Public Schools Superintendent Kristin Perkowski announced the death of White Pines Intermediate School Principal Michael Shelton. She wrote that he “passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by his loved ones.”
“Mr. Shelton was a long-serving and well-respected educator whose warm spirit and positive demeanor brought a smile to everyone around him. His impact extended far beyond his role at White Pine, and this loss will impact our school district and the greater Grand Haven community,” Perkoski wrote.
