The New York Giants have been through some tough times since they won Super Bowl 46 in February 2012. They only managed three winning seasons and two playoff appearances.
During that span, the Giants lost 10 or more games ten times and finished last in the NFC East five times.

The 2022 team, which went 9-7-1 and won a wild-card game in Minnesota, now has just a dozen players left. One of those players, long snapper Casey Clayter, was one of many Giants players tired of constant losing.
Others sensed Kreit’s frustration.
“Obviously, it sucks to lose,” right tackle Jermaine Elumumore said. “We battle every game. Every game, this team is going to put in the effort, and effort is not an issue. Need is not an issue. It’s just us getting better as a team. Like I said, these last four games were huge for us because we won the next four games and we put ourselves in a good position and put this team in a good position.

“We’re tired of losing, so we’re definitely just trying to get that feeling back,” rookie quarterback Jaxon Dart said after the Giants’ Week 17 win in Las Vegas. “It’s hard to have these close games week in and week out and you put in a lot of hard work and it didn’t really pay off for us this year.”
The Giants are hoping changes to the coaching staff will finally unlock the team’s potential and return Big Blue to glory.
