Moroccan winger Qassim Yassin is quickly becoming one of the most talked about young talents in French football. The 19-year-old, who recently won the U20 World Cup with Morocco, continued his impressive form in Dunkirk and was outstanding again in last Sunday’s Coupe de France tie against Strasbourg (1-2).

His talent has not gone unnoticed by top clubs. According to an exclusive report from Africafoot , French Ligue 1 side Lille OSC are keen on the rising star. However, they are not the only ones pursuing this goal. Olympique Marseille have also shown interest in the player, according to local newspaper La Voix Nord. The report adds that Marseille sporting director Medy Benatia “admires him” and notes that Yassin himself has had a keen interest in the club since childhood.

The growing attention from numerous suitors has a direct impact on his market valuation. His valuation on Transfermarkt recently rose to €6 million. Dunkirk’s stance is expected to firm up significantly in the face of a growing number of interested clubs. The club will now either have to pay top dollar for his move or make a compelling case to keep their valuable asset for a while.
