French media praises Andre Santos
Santos was one of Liam Roney’s changes to the squad that lost to Newcastle.
Chelsea deployed a back three of Trevor Chalobah, Jorel Hutto and Mamadou Sarr, but it simply didn’t work as they fell 2-0 behind within the first 15 minutes.
It was a difficult night for everyone involved and it was really hard for the Chelsea players to have any impact on the proceedings.
However, despite the result, French outlet L’Equipe was impressed by the Brazilian and praised his performance.

“Rosenior also preferred Andre Santos to Romeo Lavia,” they wrote.
“The Brazilian was called up to the national team by Carlo Ancelotti and performed well but missed his intervention in PSG’s third goal.”
Enzo Fernandez casts doubt on his future
While the French press were impressed with Santos, Enzo Fernandez was left in doubt about his future after the game.
The Argentine has refused to guarantee he will stay at the club next season and is thought to be open to a move to La Liga.

Fernandes has been linked with both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, with reports suggesting Chelsea will not let him go due to paper losses.
The 25-year-old is contracted until 2032 and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops in the summer.
