French Influencer Arrested in Bali After Alleged Fake Deliveryman Adult Film Video Goes Viral

Local media said a French woman, Melisa Mireille Jeanine, known online as CallMeSlo, was arrested in Bali along with two European men on charges they filmed and distributed adult film content on the Indonesian island, where such material is banned, authorities said on Tuesday.

Jenny, 23, was reportedly detained along with a 26-year-old French man identified as ERB and a 24-year-old Italian man identified as NBS and reportedly also named Nadir Ben Said.

Police said the trio made the explicit video in Canggu village in Bali’s popular tourist resort of North Kuta. Investigators said ERB served as Jenny’s manager and producer, while NBS appeared in the video dressed as a Gojek scooter delivery driver.

Authorities said they were alerted after a video circulated online showing the woman and an Italian man having sex. The video was allegedly shot on the afternoon of March 8 at Pande Villa.

“Their motive for committing the alleged crimes was to profit from adult film video content,” police officer Joseph Edward Purba told a news conference.

Police discovered the video on March 13 and, working with immigration officials, intercepted Jenny and the NBS at Denpasar Airport that day as they attempted to leave Indonesia for Thailand.

“The suspect was subsequently detained at the airport and taken to the Padang police headquarters for further legal processing,” Purba said.

ERB was arrested separately in Canggu on Monday.

Police said they seized three mobile phones, a camera, a MacBook laptop and a motorcycle taxi vest believed to have been used during the filming.

Amid online speculation, a Gojek motorcycle driver named M Ray, who had appeared in social media videos with Jeanine, said in an Instagram video that he was not involved in the incident.

“Three suspects have been named in the making of the video that went viral recently. All three are foreigners, two men and one woman. Many people thought that I was the person in the video. But thank God and thank the Padang police, especially the Criminal Investigation Group 4, for their hard work, who exposed the mastermind behind this video. I thank you again,” he said.

All three suspects are under investigation under Indonesia’s Electronic Information and Transactions Act for allegedly producing and distributing adult film content. If convicted, they could face up to 10 years in prison.
