Former Wisconsin volleyball outside hitter commits to Big East power

Former Wisconsin volleyball outside hitter Trinity Sand-Serres announced her commitment to Creighton University on Sunday.

The news comes just over a week after Shad Serres announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on December 19. She becomes the third former Badger player to announce a transfer elsewhere, joining setter Addy Hoerner (TCU) and libero/defensive specialist Mele Chen (FSU).

The native of Ontario, Canada, showed off her skills during Wisconsin’s run at the NCAA Division I women’s volleyball tournament, recording three kills in UW’s NCAA regional win over Texas and another in the team’s Final Four loss to Kentucky. In total, she had 12 kills in 16 matches.

Jackie joined FSU on Sunday, registering 16 games and 21 sets on the 2025 schedule. Her opportunities are limited considering she’s behind star Charlie Folblinger on the depth chart. Meanwhile, Horner had 19 kills in 71 games as a rookie.

The trio joins Aniya Warren and Tosia Serafinowska in the transfer portal class. Seniors Mimi Colyer, Jada Cerniglia, Carter Booth and Alicia Andrew also ended their tenures at Madison this winter.
