While the long snapper may be an obscure position in football, it’s a crucial one for special teams. The Spartans’ new special teams coordinator LeVar Woods may also have different ideas about the role next year.

Michigan State has a long history of success with long snappers. It’s worth noting that former Michigan State tight end Taybor Pepper will play in the NFL playoffs today with the San Francisco 49ers.
