Former Tennessee women’s basketball player Alyssa Latham has committed to Virginia Tech, according to On3’s Talia Goodman.
Latham is a graduate transfer who completed her junior season with the Lady Vols. After previously playing for Syracuse University, she will also return to the ACC and be selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2024.

The Lady Vols went 16-14 in the 2025-26 basketball season and lost to North Carolina State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee lost 11 of its final 13 games this season.
Latham is a forward who averaged 4.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1 steal per game in the 2025-26 season and shot 0.539 from the field. After starting her college career at Syracuse University, she played two years for the Lady Vols.
Latham, from Glenwood, Illinois, is the recipient of the Abby Conklin Scholarship.
