Former Georgia OL enters portal after two seasons as Big Ten starter

Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Aliou Bah has entered the NCAA transfer portal after serving as the starting right guard for the Maryland Terrapins the past two seasons. Bah is a former three-star recruit out of IMG Academy.

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound offensive lineman is expected to visit several SEC schools and is one of the top prospects available in the transfer portal. Ba was born in Memphis, Tennessee, so he might consider moving closer to home.

247Sports ranks Bach as the No. 911 player in the transfer portal. He is listed as a three-star transfer and is the No. 67 interior offensive lineman. Bah took more than 1,500 career snaps and was sacked just once.

Ba originally signed with Georgia as a member of the 2022 class. He redshirted in 2022 and then played three games in 2023 before transferring to Maryland.

Ba captained Maryland in the game against the Washington Huskies. The offensive lineman was recognized by Pro Football Focus for his performance against Florida Atlantic, and Maryland recognized his efforts in a win over Wisconsin.

Maryland started the 2025 college football season 4-0 but then suffered an eight-game losing streak. The Terrapins have not had a player rush for more than 100 yards all season.
