Oklahoma Sooners discovered There was more good news in the transfer portal on Monday, with news that Ivan Cullen is reportedly set to return to the program Parker Thune from OUInsider and On3.

Cullen was a four-star receiver signed in the 2024 recruiting class, and his return means he is the only receiver from that class still on the roster. He played a lot as a true freshman and had 190 snaps in an offense that dealt with injuries in the receiver room.

He had 10 catches for 89 yards as a true freshman, including a breakout performance against Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl. There, Carreon had seven catches for 77 yards.

This season, Cullen has played just 71 snaps in the offense as the health of his wide receivers improved. However, during fall camp, offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle praised his offseason work to transform his body.

Carreon has a chance to earn a spot in the Sooners’ wide receiver rotation behind Terrell Harris, Isaiah Sartegna and Parker Livingstone. Oklahoma’s other depth options include JaMychal Carter, Elijah Thomas, Manny Select, Jacob Jordan, and true freshmen Jaden Pettit, Daniel Odom, Jasiel Rogers and Xavier Okwufuluze.
