Forest have a chance of finishing in the top eight heading into the final round but will need to beat Robbie Keane’s Ferencvaros and rely on other results to achieve their target.
Sean Dyche’s side also made their contribution, with Igor Jesus scoring twice for Forest after Ferencváros defender Bence Otterworth scored an own goal. James McCarty converted a late penalty, but the victory was only enough to move the Premier League club into 13th place.
