Foden To Start, Marmoush On The Bench | 4-1-3-2 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs Leeds United

Manchester City will be looking to get a positive result away from home in the Premier League when they take on Leeds United at Elland Road this Saturday night. The Manchester giants recently beat Newcastle United 2-1, which should give them some confidence heading into this game.

Guardiola will choose a 4-1-3-2 formation and is expected to make some adjustments to his first team for this game. Phil Foden is likely to get an early start in this game, with Omar Mamouch making way for him and being on the bench.

defense

Guglielmo Vicario will be Manchester’s goalkeeper after conceding a goal in the previous game. Ruben Dias will join Marc Ghesch at the center of Guardiola’s backline as they look to stay solid in their half-space defence.

Matheus Nunes will try to prove his worth as a right-back, while Rayan Ait-Nouri will get another chance to shine at left-back. Both of them must choose the right moment to join the attack.

Abdukodir Kusanov will provide cover for the defensive positions off the bench.

midfield

Rodri will serve as City’s holding midfielder, with the talented trio of Nico O’Reilly, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva ahead of him in the box-to-box midfield. All three of them will need to retain possession well if they are to create some enticing chances in the final third.

Tijjani Reijnders and Nico Gonzalez must be content on the bench as they await the chance to impact the game in the next 45 minutes if needed.

attack

Antoine Semenho and Erling Haaland will lead Manchester’s starting XI. Both of them will need to combine well if they are to cause problems for Leeds’ backline this weekend.

Rayan Cherki and Omar Marmouche will have to take their place on the bench and could play a role in the final quarter of the game if City need a goal by then.

However, Jeremy Doku is unlikely to recover in time for this game.
