HOUSTON (AP) — Kingston Fleming had 21 points and seven assists, Emmanuel Sharp scored 19 points and No. 7 Houston beat Baylor 77-64 on Wednesday night.
Flemings and Sharp combined to make 13 of 26 shots, and Sharp made 5 of 10 three-pointers.

Joseph Tugler had 14 points and six rebounds and Milos Uzan added 12 points for Houston (25-5, 13-4 Big 12), which used a second-half surge to beat Baylor (15-15, 5-12).
The Cougars forced 18 turnovers and finished with 28 points. They shot 46% from the field and 9 of 25 three-pointers.
The Bears’ Tude Yesufu scored 20 points and 12 rebounds, Kaden Powell scored 12 points, and Cameron Carr and Obi Agbeem each scored 11 points. Baylor shot 42% from the field and 8 of 25 from beyond the arc, but made just 2 of its final 16 three-pointers.
With about 8 minutes left in the game, the Cougars trailed 58-54, but with 1:21 left, Tugler made two free throws and the Cougars went on a 23-4 run to lead 77-62. Houston never led through the first 32 minutes, but took the lead for good on Sharpe’s 3-pointer with 7:16 left. The Bears went 2-for-9 from the field in the final eight minutes.

Yesufu’s layup gave the Bears a 29-19 lead with 5:47 left in the game, but the Cougars closed the half with a 16-6 spurt and Flemings made two free throws with 5 seconds left in the half to tie the game at 35. Flemings scored eight points in the half.
