Saturday will be the second meeting of the season between the Vols and Crimson Tide. Tennessee won 79-73 on January 26 at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Beginning with the 2024-25 athletic calendar, the SEC is mandating that schools provide public reporting on student-athlete participation in every conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.

Tennessee vs. Alabama basketball game injury reports
Tennessee junior forward Cade Phillips is out. He will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 basketball season due to a recurring shoulder injury.

“We will truly miss Cade’s time on the court and he is certainly disappointed that he will not be able to finish the regular season, but it is vital that he remains healthy,” Barnes said on December 8, 2025. “Cade has done everything he can to get through this injury for as long as possible.”
Freshman guard Clarence Masamba is also listed for the Vols’ game against Alabama.
Davion Hannah, Keitenn Bristow and Collins Onyejiaka are all listed on the Crimson Tide roster, while Labaron Philon is likely to be out.
