Last firefighter injured in explosion at Nashua mental health facility released from hospital
The last firefighter injured in a massive explosion at the Greater Nashua Mental Health Building has been released from the hospital.
Nashua Fire Chief Steve Buxton told Boston 25 he is grateful for the support firefighters have received and is grateful for the work of hospital medical staff.
The explosion occurred late last month, in January, at a mental health facility where a gas leak reportedly caused an explosion and fire.

It is believed that 60 people who were in the building when the gas leaked escaped safely before the explosion.
Officials said the explosion may have been caused by falling ice that damaged a natural gas pipeline.
The investigation is ongoing.
