First trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium
Everton Football Club seems intrinsically linked to Goodison Park, having played there since 1892 and closing in August 2025.
The Red Devils played their last game there last February and ended up drawing 2-2, with late goals from Bruno Fernandez and Manuel Ugarte saving a point.

Manchester United played 107 games at Goodison Stadium, winning a total of 37 games and losing 47 games.
The Toffees have not won at their new stadium since December 6 and have been far better away from home this season.
In fact, they have managed just five wins in all competitions at home this season and United will be hoping that erratic run of form can continue.
Bruno Fernandes hopes to break record
Bruno Fernandes has been one of Manchester United’s standout players this season and leads the league in assists.
The BBC reported that “Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandez has participated in 10 goals (2 goals, 8 assists) in the past 9 away Premier League games. His 8 away assists this season are the most assists by a Red Devils player in a single season, tied with Ryan Giggs in the 2001-02 season.”

One assist on Monday night already broke the club record.
The Portugal international also had an excellent record away from Everton, scoring four goals at Goodison Park. Ruud van Nistelrooy (5 goals) and Jack Rowley (6 goals) are the only players in the club’s history to have scored more goals away from Everton.
In just 11 games against the Toffees, he scored a total of six goals and five assists.
Happy travel
The Red Devils’ record against Everton over the years has been excellent.
“Manchester United have more away wins (19) and more total wins (42) against Everton than any other team in Premier League history,” the BBC said.
