Everton are on the lookout for a new forward and they could explore a potential swap between Beto and Roma’s Artem Dobvik during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The two clubs owned by the Friedkin Group have not yet conducted direct business dealings. However, ESPN’s Matteo Moreto reports that “Beto Dovbik could be a working hypothesis for both Roma and Everton heading into January. The Ukrainian striker’s willingness remains to be seen.”

Beto, signed from Udinese in 2023, scored 22 goals in 65 games before arriving on Merseyside and still has admirers in Italy, where he scored 17 goals in 89 games.
Dobvik, meanwhile, scored 17 goals in 45 games during his first season with Roma and finished as La Liga’s top scorer with Girona in the 2023-24 season. However, the Ukraine international has scored just two goals in 14 games for the Italian capital side this season.
Beto is also apparently attracting interest from David Moyes’ former club West Ham United. TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey reports: “However, we can confirm that one of the players West Ham have inquired about is Everton’s Beto. But he will only be available if the Toffees can bring in another striker.”
