Western Oregon, including Eugene, could see snow next week.
The National Weather Service predicts freezing temperatures and snow are possible from the coast to the Cascade foothills from February 16 to February 18, and some snow accumulation may persist.
Snowfall will not be heavy and will be limited to the morning, but will become heavier as the day progresses. In Eugene, the National Weather Service predicts a less than 10 percent chance of snow on February 16, a “likely” chance of snow on February 17, and an “occasional” chance of snow on February 18. Any snow that falls will melt during the day.

The NWS predicts Eugene’s lows will reach 36 degrees on the morning of February 16, 31 degrees on the morning of February 17, and 28 degrees on the morning of February 18.

How much snow can it snow in Eugene-Springfield?
No matter how thick the snow is, it’s not very deep. The NWS said there is a 1 percent chance that Eugene will see at least 2 inches of snow, but warned people should still drive carefully because even the 0.1 inch of snow expected to fall in Eugene on February 18 would be enough to affect travel.
How much snow can I expect at Willamette Pass?
The NWS is forecasting more snowfall in the Cascades, with snow expected to fall every day between February 13 and February 18. The Willamette Pass has a 50 to 60 percent chance of at least a foot of snow next week.
From 4 a.m. on February 17 to 4 a.m. on February 19, Eugene has a 1% chance of seeing 2 inches or more of snow.
