A TikToker accused Erica of going shopping shortly after her husband’s death, claiming to have received the message from an anonymous Alo staff member.

In the viral post, the influencer shared what appeared to be a receipt from the mother of two’s shopping history, indicating that Erica spent a little over $1,000 at the store on the alleged date.

The TikToker further claimed that she purchased several all-black outfits, describing them as “extremely, extremely expensive” items.

The post also slammed the TPUSA CEO, questioning whether it was appropriate for her to go shopping so soon after her husband’s death.

“I don’t even know what’s more shocking to me. That she went on a shopping spree less than 24 hours after her husband was publicly assassinated, or that she was shopping at Alo?” the influencer said.

“That’s not how shock happens. That’s not how grief happens for the average person,” the TikToker further commented, “Nobody wears leggings and a sports bra to their husband’s funeral.”

TPUSA staff revealed that Erika Kirk was not the one who shopped at Alo

Shortly after the TikTok post went viral, a TPUSA staff member named Elizabeth McCoy came forward to clarify that Erika was not the one shopping at the clothing brand.

“I was the one who purchased the Alo in person in Utah,” the person revealed. “When we got the call that Charlie had been shot, we rushed from the office to the plane. When we arrived in Utah, we had nothing with us but the clothes we were wearing. We wore them all day in the hospital and slept in them that night.”

She added, “The next morning our friend Stacey handed me her card and I went out and bought some items and toiletries for various team members and Erica. Arlo was right down the street.”

TPUSA staff went on to call the accusations against Erica a “planned, staged attack” and slammed those spreading them as “cruel and vicious.”

Specific to Erica’s case, attorney Danny Cullen described the leak of her shopping records as an “invasion of privacy” and said Arlo may not be immune from prosecution under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA).

Karen pointed out: “Although Kirk is not a resident of Utah, because she purchased Alo at a physical store in Utah and the disclosure occurred in Utah, personal jurisdiction exists over the parties in Utah, as does the application of Utah law.”

“That means she can sue in Utah under Utah law,” the legal expert added.

Erica Kirk has yet to comment on the allegations

Despite the clarification from TPUSA staff, current concerns about the alleged shopping spree remain.

Erica herself, meanwhile, has yet to comment and appears to be ignoring the accusations, like much of the scrutiny she has faced in recent months.

As for the Alo brand, it has yet to make a statement on the matter, specifically whether the staff member suspected of leaking the information has been found and whether it plans to take any action.
