El Grande Americano Embraces WWE HOFer To The Delight Of AAA Fans

WWE’s El Grande Americano character quickly captivated audiences around the world, especially fans of AAA. Despite this, El Grande Americano has always been portrayed as a heel, but during the recent Guerra de Titanes event, he seemed to take a major step toward eventually becoming a babyface.

While he doesn’t have an obvious babyface transformation, he seems to have embraced the adoration of the AAA crowd and will likely continue to work for them even as he continues to be booked as a villain in WWE.

Chad Gable (the founder behind the El Grande Americano mask) is reportedly slowly recovering from his injury and is expected to return to the WWE Performance Center in November in preparation for his return to television. It remains to be seen whether he will put on the mask again or continue playing himself. With Grande Americano now babyfaced, there could be some tension between the various men in the mask, likely leading to some kind of conflict between them. In addition to Gable, Ludwig Caesar, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate have all donned the mask at various points.
