The BBC reported that a total of £47.5 million was paid to “unregistered agents and third parties” between 2011 and 2018. Of that amount, 50% is for just one transaction.
Dangerous trading may be the biggest violation
They wrote: “The money was paid to seven unregistered agents (or entities associated with them) to sign players, including Eden Hazard (Lille), Ramirez (Benfica), David Luiz (Benfica), Andre Schurrle (Leverkusen) and Nemanja Matic (Benfica).”
Hazard is the biggest of all these deals, and probably the cheapest – so we can assume £23m is linked to him. There have long been rumors about something dodgy in the deal, but there’s no way to know for sure.

Bizarrely, there was also a transfer fee of £3.8m involving a player whose name has been removed from the findings. We don’t know why, and we don’t know who.
In other news…

Two Chelsea players struggled against Newcastle and one of them clearly needs to be dropped.
