FC Barcelona remains a dream destination for young talents from around the world, not only because of the club’s rich tradition, but also because of the excellent environment it provides.
Belgian prodigy Noah Fernandez is one of the teenage players tipped to be keen on a move to Barcelona, with the 18-year-old PSV star opening up about his dream of joining the Catalan side.

“I grew up a Barcelona fan because of their football. My dream is to play there one day and win the Champions League.” he said last year.
Renewal closed
“Sports” revealed in a recent report that PSV Eindhoven has reached an agreement with Fernandez to extend his contract until 2030, and the deal has entered the final stage.
The deal brings a pay rise that the Dutch giants see fit given his current contribution and officially secures him a place in the first team as he is now 18 years old.

Barcelona have long followed the midfield star and even follow his matches closely to generate personalized reports on his performances and quality.
He soon made his debut with PSV’s first team and rose through the academy, even playing for them in the Champions League. The Dutch giants are understandably unwilling to wait and are now close to securing his future.
Given his progress, it’s only a matter of time before Fernandes becomes a priority signing for Europe’s top clubs, with PSV opening the door for his departure.
However, they will charge a premium and Barcelona will have to weigh up whether his signing is worth the fee charged at the time.
