CHICAGO (AP) — Jalen Duren returned from suspension and scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help the Detroit Pistons dominate the second half and beat the Chicago Bulls 126-110 on Saturday night.
Cade Cunningham nearly had his 15th career triple-double with 18 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds as the Pistons won their fifth straight game. Tobias Harris also scored 18 points and Duncan Robinson added 17 to lead Detroit (42-13), which leads the league and has handed Chicago its season-high eight straight losses.

Duren, who missed two games against Charlotte on Feb. 9, helped establish Detroit’s dominance. In this game, he earned a technical foul in the third quarter by inadvertently throwing the ball into the face of Chicago’s Nick Richards while Richards was down.
Josh Guidy scored 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting, including five 3-pointers, but the Bulls trailed just 53-50 at halftime and couldn’t keep up with the Pistons. Matas Buzelis, Jalen Smith and Isaac Okoro each scored 15 points, and the Bulls committed 23 turnovers and Detroit scored 28 points.
Detroit scored 68 points in the paint, beating Chicago to just 38 points for the Bulls. The Pistons scored 26 points on second chances to Chicago’s 16.
The Bulls played without Jaden Ivey, who has played just four games with Chicago after being traded from Detroit and will miss two weeks with knee soreness. Anfernee Simons leaves game with left wrist injury

Bulls head coach Billy Donovan returned to the bench after missing a game to attend his father’s funeral.
The first half was a tight affair with the Pistons leading by no more than six points. Detroit outscored Chicago 44-26 in the third quarter, extending its lead to 28 points.
