Lakewood police are searching for a man caught on video punching another driver during a road rage incident on Sunday.
Lakewood police said the fight began after the victim stopped to let pedestrians cross at the intersection of First Street and Clifton Avenue.
When the driver stopped, he was rear-ended by another vehicle, police said. The driver then got out of the car and spoke to the man who had hit the car.
During the conversation, the other driver grabbed the victim, threw him to the ground and dragged him into the road before getting back in the car and fleeing north on Clifton Avenue, according to police.
Police said the attack happened around 1:20 p.m. and left the victim with injuries to his ribs, neck, knees and face.
According to video of the incident shared by local news site TheLakewoodScoop.com, the suspect was wearing gray sweatpants and a black jacket.
