Oakland County, Michigan (FOX 2)A woman who was badly beaten is recovering and her ex-husband is now in the Oakland County Jail after a serious case of domestic violence was all caught on video Thursday night.

The 37-year-old woman was covered in blood and was brutally beaten. She was punched in the face more than a dozen times and her hair was kicked and dragged. Tayler Adams, a close friend of the victim, spoke to Fox 2. The man behind all this is allegedly the victim’s ex-husband and the father of her daughter, Jess Anthony Vettraino.

“How can one person do this to another person?” Adams said. “The nose was broken and she had to have it reconstructed and get stitches under her left eye.”

Her close friend Tayler Adams told Fox 2 that her daughter’s father, Anthony Vettraino, was allegedly behind the incident.

“She said, ‘Tyler, I pulled in, walked to the door, and I watched him drive the truck in the snow … you saw it on the video,'” Adams said.

Vetrano was supposed to be released from jail on Thursday and earn $250,000 with 10 percent interest.

However, an emergency hearing raised the bond to $500,000.

He will remain in the Oakland County Jail.
