Mir wasted no time, landing a powerful double leg takedown within seconds. From there, she came out of top control, threatened with a choke hold from Darth, transitioned to mount, advanced using gift wrap, and eventually took Willink’s back. Willink defended well and fought back at the end, trying to attack Mir’s knee with a kneebar before the round ended.
Round two started out more of the same: Mir cutting into half guard, Willink chasing armbars and heel hooks, Mir calmly shutting things down. Midway through the match, the referee paused the fight so doctors could examine Mir’s bloody nose, but she was cleared and immediately went for another takedown, resuming her dominance.
Willink stretched his defense early in the third round, hoping to force a scramble, but Mir stayed heavy and safe. Willink continued to look for heel hooks, toe holds, and anything else she could grab, but none came close as Mir’s power and pressure overpowered her offense.

Despite the lopsided victory, Mir said afterwards that she was disappointed with her performance.
With this win, Mir moves to 2-0 in UFC BJJ competition. She will now turn her attention back to the college wrestling season at North Central College over the next three months, then potentially schedule her next MMA fight this summer.
