Department of Corrections ‘Aggressively’ Trying to Transfer Bryan Kohberger to Another Prison

McDonough, who now works for the Cold Case Foundation, said Idaho officials are “actively” working on the transfer process to another state. “So they’re thinking, ‘What are we going to do with this guy?'” he said.

Koberg, 31, was known for frequently complaining about his living conditions, according to MacDonald. He was even picky about the food served in prison, right down to the type of bananas.

The murder in Moscow, Idaho occurred on November 13, 2022. Koberg changed his plea last July as part of a deal with prosecutors to avoid the death penalty.
