Demolition Set For 2026 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Last week, AJ Styles learned that he would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame following a tribute to his career on “WWE Raw,” making him the second person to be announced for this year’s Hall of Fame after Stephanie McMahon. On Monday, however, one of the company’s most decorated tag teams became the next inductees into the Hall of Fame.

This morning, The Undertaker revealed on social media that Demolition’s Bill “Axe” Eadie and Barry “Smash” Darsow will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026. The Undead revealed the news to the pair during a video call and congratulated them on their “well-deserved” induction.

The Demolition have been one of the legendary tag teams that fans have aspired to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over the years, but their past feud with the company over legal disputes and CTE lawsuits may have prevented their induction. Last year, Demolition signed a Legends contract with WWE, sparking some speculation that the tag team was no longer stuck with the promotion, and now that they are inducted into the Hall of Fame, this year will be their first appearance on WWE programming since the 1990s.

Demolition held the WWE World Tag Team Championship three times between 1988 and 1990, with their first championship being their most historic, lasting 478 days. Ax and Smash have also battled against some of the best in the circle, with countless battles against icons such as Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, Haku and Tama, and The Legion Of Doom.
