A Delta Air Lines flight to Jacksonville, Florida, returned to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport shortly after taking off Sunday.
Delta Air Lines flight DL2627 returned to the airport after detecting an engine problem.
The Boeing 757 aircraft was carrying 191 passengers and six crew members.
According to FlightAware, the flight took off at 4:22 p.m. and returned to Atlanta at 5:25 p.m.
The flight will continue to Jacksonville International Airport on another plane later Sunday evening.
Delta Air Lines issued a statement about the flight:
With the safety of customers and employees paramount, the crew of Delta Air Lines flight DL2627 followed procedure and returned to Atlanta after discovering a problem with one of the aircraft’s engines. The flight landed safely in Atlanta and we sincerely apologize to our passengers for the delay.
