Wilkes-Barre Township, Luzerne County (WBRE/Wyoming) — A popular shopping destination in our area remains without power, but people are still heading to some destinations at Wyoming Valley Mall for shopping and exercise.
Saturday is just like a normal workday for Crunch Fitness and Ashley’s Furniture Store: They’re open now, thanks to generators.
The rest of the mall remains without power.
Rain, freezing rain expected in Pennsylvania on Sunday
On Christmas Eve, the mall lost power for the second time this year, leaving last-minute shoppers out of luck.
Crews are currently working to restore power to the mall, which is expected to remain out on Sunday.
