Cowboys injuries: Tyler Guyton, DeMarvion Overshown ruled out

As the 2025 NFL season comes to an end, the Dallas Cowboys will not be able to go home for the holidays. Playing for pride, the Cowboys will travel to Northwest Stadium to take on the Washington Commanders on Christmas Day. Following this week’s final injury report, we have a look at who will be available for tomorrow’s game.

Today, the Cowboys announced that linebacker Demavion Overshawn (concussion) will not play against Washington. He suffered a concussion on Sunday; so it’s unlikely he’ll make such a quick turnaround in just one week. Tyler Guyton (ankle) has also been ruled out for tomorrow’s game. Guyton has not played since November and this is his fourth game he has missed due to injury.

Ryan Flournoy (knee) did not return to practice today after being listed as DNP yesterday. Officials have determined he has a problem. Tyler Booker (ankle) was limited today and designated questionable, as was Quinnen Williams with a neck injury. Javonte Williams (neck) was upgraded to full participation today and was cleared for the game and will play against the Commanders.

As for Washington, they confirmed what many suspected Wednesday — quarterbacks Marcus Mariota (hand) and Jayden Daniels (elbow) will not play tomorrow. That means Josh Johnson will start on Christmas Day, with Jeff Drickell serving as his backup.
