Former Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri is a member of the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.
After receiving the honor, Vinatieri had a message for Colts fans.
“Hey Colts fans – this is Adam Vinatieri Vinatieri. I still – I can’t take that smile back. I just want to thank you all for helping us along the way. Love you, man. But all the Colts fans, the Irsay family, I couldn’t have done this without you. It means the world to me and I’m excited to be back with you all.”
In 14 seasons in Indianapolis, Vinatieri shot 85.3 percent from the field. In the playoffs, Vinatieri shot 81.2% from the field.

During his career, he was a three-time Pro Bowler and a three-time All-Pro. Vinatieri also won four Super Bowls, including one in 2006 with the Colts.
He will enter the Hall of Fame as the NFL’s all-time leader in career points. Vinatieri also holds the record for consecutive field goals made with 44, the record for career field goals made with 599, and the record for most points in the postseason.
