There’s a big meeting this week regarding the future of college football. Sorry, there are actually two meetings this week. You’re probably thinking of the much-publicized one scheduled for Friday at the White House. What’s more important is a secret. It happened in Dallas and was attended by powerful people in college football. The meeting was with Smash Sports, an extension of investment group Smash Capital. It is focused on consolidating all media rights for college football. Ross Dellenger reports behind the scenes of the conference. Andy Staples and Steven Godfrey join the conversation to discuss the impact of this meeting, the impact of consolidation and the possibility of something similar happening.

Andy, Ross, and Godfrey then continue the conversation about how a situation like this would play out and who else would need to be involved to make it work.
