Details of tight end Julian Hill’s free-agent deal with the New England Patriots were released Thursday.
According to ESPN’s Mike Rice, Hill’s three-year contract with the Patriots is worth up to $18 million.

Hill reached an agreement with the Patriots shortly after the NFL free agent signing window opened at 4 pm ET on Wednesday. The North Carolina native decided to sign with the Patriots after hitting the open market as an unrestricted free agent in 2026.
Hill previously signed a three-year, $2.7 million contract with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
The 25-year-old had 15 catches for 140 yards in 2025. Hill also had a catch rate of 75% with the Dolphins last season. His career highs in all three departments increase his value in free agency. Hill will head to New England in 2026 with the richest contract of his career.
